Membership in the YWCA offers many opportunities to socialize among friends and meet other women. The YWCA encourages its members to volunteer within our organization and our community.
Everyone who joins the YWCA is called a "Member". YWCA member events are open to all members of the organization. Each member will receive a copy of the Direct Line. Published 10 times annually, from September through June, it announces each upcoming month's activities and special events and provides information about the YWCA's community outreach.
During the first three years of your membership, you are classified as a "Newcomer". The Newcomers Club is for YWCA members who are or feel new to the community to socialize and build a circle of friends.
Programs or events specifically labled "Newcomer Events" are for YW members with Newcomer status only. They are listed on our website or in the Direct Line.
International Club
The International Club is open to any YWCA member who has an international background or interest, including citizens of different countries and Americans who have lived abroad, as well as other members who enjoy cultural experiences or seek to broaden their understanding of the world and how others live.
