The YWCA of the USA 's mission is the empowerment of women and girls and the elimination of racism to create a community of peace, justice, dignity and freedom.

Our local YWCA of Darien-Norwalk touches one out of every six households in our community. Through its family programs, community service initiatives and social clubs, the YWCA has served women and families in our area for over 30 years.

The YWCA of Darien-Norwalk is grateful for the support of the Community Fund of Darien and the Darien Community Council.
